Adjusted her sails

Hello!  So, I have a bunch of pattern paper, whether it is 12×12 or in 6×6 pads…I have a ton of both.  So I decided I wanted to play with the Carta Bella Yacht Club and this is how I was inspired:

I used the retired Verve Stamps, Adjusted Sails stamp.  I aged the papers with Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber.   The sentiment has been stamped with Hero Arts Navy Shadow Ink.
I used a wood veneer anchor and tied it off with Red Twine from the T$spot.

I’m linking up to Mojo Monday:

  1. This is sheer perfection, Amy! I love the sentiment and the patterned paper you used – they coordinate so beautifully! The wooden embellishment is beautiful – reminds me that I have those same ones and they are languishing away in a drawer. You rocked the sketch! Hope you have a wonderful day/week!

  2. Wowwwwwwwwwwwww! I loveeeeeeeeeee this! That sentiment … love love loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

  3. That is a wonderful sentiment, and one we all should pay more attention to! Your card is gorgeous with all those papers. Now I'm inspired to drag out some of mine and play a little this afternoon. Love all those tones and patterns, and how you've aged them too. Sheer delight! Have a good Sunday. Bev

  4. Oh this is very cool. Love all the different papers you were able to use here, Amy! The wood anchor is adorable too! 🙂

  5. Great card. I too have tons of designer papers. I like the idea of using them like you did and added a wonderful sentiment. Really like this card.

  6. It's those tiny all-over prints that I have a love/hate relationship with … you've used them just beautifully, amy … what a great sentiment, too!
