Coffee Loving Cardmakers Sip & Share: Espresso Yourself

I was thrilled to be able to wake up yesterday and craft…with electricity.  The weather people have been warning us about a horrible wind storm but luckily, it didn’t hit land by us.  Good eye opener to stay prepared, as we are now.

Generator
Lanterns
Non-Perishables
Bottled Waters
Keep a full tank of fuel

So anywho’s, here is a card that I worked on yesterday….
In September I picked up a coffee bundle from Whimsy Stamps.  I kept wondering where they went to and low and behold when I actually went to put away a box that I’ve been tripping on, the bundle with a couple of other things were underneath.  sigh —> just keeping things real.  Yes, you don’t want to see my crafting room.  This year has been a whirlwind of crafty goodness and I look forward to the end of December when generally things slow down (and I have Christmas through the New Years off from work)…so I can get organized!

The circle tag is by Avery Elle.

I was inspired by Kerry’s Sip & Share challenge:
Thanks so much for stoppin’ by and have a GREAT week!

  2. Ahhh… your grey/green combination and coffee-theme have made my Monday morning (after a whirlwind trip to see my mom and, of course, my niece and nephew) far brighter. Love the polka-dots. So glad you were safe from the storms!

  5. So glad your power is back on, Amy! And good for you for getting prepared for the next time. I'm smiling over your "tripping over boxes" comment, because that is exactly what my craft room is like. I can never find anything! Terrible! LOVE your card! A perfect match of paper to stamps, and love your take on that sketch! I adore the tiny star peeking through the cozy. And love how you did the sentiment, too!!

  6. I can see how you were inspired by the sketch, in a very creative and also effective way. Wonderful interpretation, Amy!
