Paper Smooches: you + me = awesome

I’m on week 2 of my Paper Smooches Guestie gig!
Here’s one of my two cards for today:

Surprise, Surprise!

C  O  F  F  E  E
If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know that I’m a coffee-a-holic.  I love anything and everything associated with the stuff.

So today’s card was inspired by the Starbucks that is by my daughter’s apartment.  It’s one that has the newer feature, Starbucks Evening.  It has a completely different menu available after 4 pm.   Anywho’s, it is a large Starbucks with a great atmosphere and design plan….

I knew that I wanted to play with the

I used my MUCH hoarded Cherry Wood paper that I bought from the now closed, Paper Zone.  I die cut and covered up the back with Scor-tape.  I wanted to keep the pattern intact for design flow.

I upcycled a Starbucks coffee sleeve and heat embossed the sentiment

Pop on over to Paper Smooches to see my other card!

  7. perfect embossing choice! I was just thinking about the Paper Zone today when I was considering whether to use up one of the last few pieces of my fav kraft cardstock ever. My inner gollum won out and I'll be hoarding it a bit longer. LOL

  8. I didn't even notice the square die… but now that I look again, fun. And way to up cycle.

  9. Your coffee-themed cards are always fabulous! I think you should make them available at your favourite coffee shops; people would totally buy them!
