Happy 100th Birthday | Simon Says Stamp

Yesterday was my former Mother -in-Law’s 100th birthday! If you’ve been following me, you might know that I’ve been having a card drive for this awesome centenarian. It closes on August 31st, meaning the cards need to be mailed on or before that date. More details in a smidge, let’s chat about the card first.

This card features the following Simon Says Stamp products:

Daisy Frame Bundle | stamp, die + stencil
Chunky Ovals | dies
Chunky Scalloped Ovals | dies

What’s that? The Chunky Scalloped Oval looks a little different? I went old school with my McGill hole punch and added a bit of glam.

And the coordinating stencil for the Daisy Frame? Must have. It makes coloring everything so easy!

Birthday cards + 50 States Update:

As of yesterday, I had a total of 83 card recorded. I’ve been entering all of the cards into an online gallery so Melva can go back and look through them whenever she’d like. Unfortunately, that site has been down for the past couple of days. I’ve emailed them to see if it’s them…or operator error.

ALSO…my community is severely understaffed at the post office. Eep. I might be on their “list” because of this card drive and, well, my overall shopping habits.

If you mailed a card more than a week ago and you see your state listed below, please DM me. I have a feeling some happy mail is being delayed.

This cardmaking community is seriously AWESOME. I’ve had so much fun seeing where all of these cards are coming from and I can’t thank everyone enough for helping celebrate Melva.
