Hello and Happy Friday Eve! My project was inspired by the newest Inspired by Challenge: Hydrangeas

I was inspired by the theme + colors. My card features the following Hero Arts products:
- Hydrangea Layering Stencils of the Month | June 2025
- Banner Days | stamp + die
- Rounded Rectangle | infinity dies
Hero Arts Inks:
- Byzantine Green | Reactive Glitz
- Kiwi | Core Ink
- Egyptian Blue | Reactive Glitz
- Dusty Blue | Core Ink
I used Distress Oxide Black Soot for the center of the blooms.

The stenciling was done on ColorWheel Cardstock:
- Fairy Tale
The sentiment has stamped with Egyptian Blue on Fairy Tale cardstock. The card dimension is 5×7.
If you were following me last year, you might remember that I did a call out for Birthday cards for my former Mother-in-law’s 99th birthday. I’m doing it again for her 100th birthday that is in August. In honor of this fantastic woman, I want to send her a total of 100 birthday cards. I’d love for my papercrafting friends to contribute one of their card designs. Here’s how it will work:
- I’m collecting birthday cards until August 1st
- I’m asking that cards are sent directly to me so that I can make weekly visits with a handful of cards to share with the birthday queen.
- When I receive your card, I’ll link it up with your name in a separate post – details to come.
- BONUS: I will draw five random cards and those designers will receive a $20 Gift card to their choice of one of these shops:
- Altenew
- Brass & Bliss Craft Co – US Shipping only
- Catherine Pooler
- Doodlebugswa – US Shipping only
- Hero Arts
- My Pretty Things
- Simon Says Stamp
- Spellbinders
Help me to celebrate this fabulous lady!
Yes, I designed today’s card especially for her birthday. I’m designing a small stockpile of birthday cards for her for my non-crafty friends and family. Although I believe that everyone is crafty in their own way.

I can’t wait to see how you’re inspired!
