We’ve been sending cards to my husband’s maternal Aunt that has cancer. She lives in a different state and has been having a steady stream of visitors. That’s the beauty of cards, they can open them at their leisure and can acknowledge or not acknowledge them. At least, that’s how I feel about my cards…although his aunt is very old school and of course she sends him a text.
The sentiment is spot on.
