Hello and Happy Monday! I’m excited to be up on the Spellbinders blog. I have a bit of a sneak peek of one of my three projects that I designed especially for today:

Make sure you check out the Spellbinders blog + Spellbinders Shop!
I wanted to go ahead and also create a new project to share on my blog today.

Here’s my Spellbinders product list for the NEW Modern Botanicals Collection by Dina Wakley:
- Flourishing BetterPress Plates from the Modern Botanicals Collection by Dina Wakley
- Growing BetterPress Plates from the Modern Botanicals Collection by Dina Wakley
- Lined Corners 3D Embossing Folder BetterPress Plates from the Modern Botanicals Collection by Dina Wakley
Other Spellbinders products:
- Holding Your Heart Sentiments BetterPress Plates & Die Set from the Collaged Birds Collection by Dina Wakley
- Tiger ink from the Tropical BetterPress Ink Mini Set
- Leaf ink from the Flower Garden BetterPress Ink Mini Set
- Tawny Brown ink from the Nature Tones BetterPress Ink Mini Set
- Peacock Feathers | Distress Oxide Ink
- Fawn Colorwheel Cardstock
- Bisque Betterpress Cotton

I added a panel that I upcycled from a cardboard box. This card is definitely being hand delivered to the recipient. The sentiment strip is on foam adhesive. I added the Peacock Feathers ink by smooshing the pad on my glass mat, spritzed with water and smooshed my cotton panel into the color. I used my heat tool to completely dry the panel before proceeding with the BetterPress elements.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the BetterPress system is super easy to use. No heat or power needed. It’s like having your own mini letterpress machine. Another product I recently picked up is the Spellbinders Universal Plate System. This has been a major improvement for me. I could never get the sandwiches right for all the 3D embossing folders. Now it is super quick and easy.

I had so much fun picking out colors for today’s card. They were inspired by the Color Throwdown:

A big thank you to Spellbinders for inviting me to be a guest designer on their blog!
