Spring in Kyoto | Spellbinders

Thank you to my friends at Spellbinders for sending me some products to play with. Here’s how I was inspired today:

Today’s project features the following NEW Spellbinders products from the Spring in Kyoto Collection by Alex Syberia Designs:

  • Kokeshi Dolls BetterPress Plate & Die Set
  • Blossoms & Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set
  • Spring in Kyoto BetterPress Plate

I also used these Spellbinder products:

  • Emerald Cut Labels and Tag | Dies
  • Porcelain BetterPress | A2 Cotton Card Panels
  • BetterPress Black | ink

I absolutely LOVE this collection. I know that I’ve said this before but the BetterPress system is so fun and easy to use! If you haven’t made the jump, I highly recommend it.

Japan is my favorite international vacation spot. I feel so grateful that I’ve been able to visit four times, the first time being in 2000 with one of my older brothers. I’ve also traveled there with my kids twice and with my oldest brother, sister-in-law and mother. Each trip was a different type of experience for me. It is ALWAYS fun and the food is ALWAYS amazing. The most recent trip , Spring 2024 was with my kids. I thought this might be an appropriate memory to share:

This is literally Spring in Kyoto – April 2024. We rented kimonos for a couple hours. My daughter was our photographer for the afternoon. The women at the shop dress you, so many layers of clothing, and do your hair. Such a fun memory that my youngest treated me to.

I’ll definitely be back with more projects [wink].
