Thank you to my friends at Spellbinders for sending me some products to play with. Here’s how I was inspired today:

Today’s project features the following NEW Spellbinders products from the Spring in Kyoto Collection by Alex Syberia Designs:
- Cherry Blossoms BetterPress Plate & Die Set
I also used these Spellbinder products:
- Let’s Celebrate Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set
- Lavender ColorWheel Cardstock
- Porcelain BetterPress A7
- BetterPress Black | ink

I absolutely LOVE this collection. I know that I’ve said this before but the BetterPress system is so fun and easy to use! If you haven’t made the jump, I highly recommend it.
I inked up the Lavender cardstock with Distress Oxide – Dusty Concord. I wasn’t necessarily thinking of making my Mom another Mother’s Day card but when I spotted the sentiment in one of my new sets, I knew that I had to do it. The blooms have been colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

This is literally Spring in Kyoto – April 2024. We rented kimonos for a couple hours. My daughter was our photographer for the afternoon. The women at the shop dress you, so many layers of clothing, and do your hair. Such a fun memory that my youngest treated me to.

I’ll definitely be back with more projects [wink].
