Here’s how I was inspired today:

This is me getting messy. I absolutely love the mixed media look but it is always a lesson in discovery and learning for me. I scour instagram for some inspiration and then take the plunge.

My project features the following woodblock stamps from Impress:

• 5509I – Pen and Ink Daisies
• 5362G – Confetti Dots | retired
• 5254D – Greetings from the Northwest

I used watercolor cardstock and started off with the distress oxide background. I used the smooshing technique and my heat tool. I followed up with two of the woodblock stamps.

The sentiment has been heat embossed in white on black cardstock.
