Today I’m featuring the beautiful image from the Columbine Wishing set and a sentiment from Bird of Paradise Wishing:

I’ve been loving the double panel backgrounds in the same color with dry embossing. It really makes the floral image POP.

cardstock: [retired} Stampin Up – Blushing Bride

I’m a big fan of the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers with watercolor pen and their blender pen. Especially on these larger images, it makes it easier to color them. The center of the bloom has been loaded up with the Lawn Fawn Glitter Pen.

Next up is Caly Person! For the full listing, please scroll down to the bottom of this post.

  1. Wow, you are right, the dry embossing technique does make it pop! I have not tried this, but now I will have to <3
Thanks for your sharing creativity and sparking mine!

  2. You’re right! The colored background matching the folder does make the flower pop. And it is beautiful! Having lived in Colorado makes the flower a special one.

  3. Love the dynamic contrast between the graphic embossed background and the organic comumbine flower Amy – a stunning card as a result
    Blessings

  4. Really like the colors and the perfect background to make the floral even more textural. Go PINK.

  5. Thank you Amy for your inspiration for the Columbine BIG floral.
This softness of the color, lets one think of a child who in their innocence, might pluck it
and put it up to there nose to whiff it’s fragrance. What scent would you give this flower you created?
