Let the Good Times Roll | Catherine Pooler

I designed this card last weekend and was suppose to give it to my friend.  I totally forgot it on the kitchen table and gave it to her yesterday.

My friend is our new skating buddy!  We have been skating in the garage all these weeks and finally made it OUTSIDE yesterday…LOL.  I know, it doesn’t sound like a big deal but it is.  We scored on a beautiful Seattle afternoon.  We had Temple Pastries waiting for us as our reward.

Any locals that can recommend places to skate, I’d love to hear from you!  The park we were at was okay, we were in their small basketball area.

The color palette of my card was based on my friends skates:

I used the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch but looks like it closed on Tuesday.

  1. Love the easy diagonal slope! Also the skates colors! What fun for the 2 of you. Haha, I used to roller skate at the wood floor skate rink, during summers, in Birch Bay. It was right next to the Trampoline. Think all that "beach front" property has a resort now? Of course, hurray for the public, there is a 2 lane road and then the beach. Bon fires, guitar music, singing, and marshmellows! What fun. ♡
