Hope for Charity | Jane’s Doodles

Did you see the post over on Jane’s Doodles social media about the earthquakes that have hit Croatia?  She drew a gorgeous bloom with all money going to the Croatian Red Cross.  Here’s how I was inspired by the set:

I’m a big fan of the CTMH 12×12 paper.  It’s thin enough to layer up and thin enough to go through our laser printer with no glitches.  I trimmed down a sheet to 8.5 x 11 and uploaded two of the blooms onto a word document.  I printed it out in black and then used a stitched scallop rectangle die [waltzing mouse] and die cut the images.  The black base panel is 3.75 x 5.

I took the die cut pink panels and ran them through our laminator with Therm O Web – Rose Gold – Deco Foil:

I always look forward to the reveal after the images have gone through the laminator.  The photos simply do not do the glitz justice.  It’s absolutely beautiful.

The sentiments are Taylored Expressions – Simple Strips – Crafty.  A Crafty Collab with Brutus Monroe.  I picked them up and the coordinating dies from Butterfly Reflections Ink.

  1. I've been off the grid for the last few weeks, amy … thanks to you, and Jane, helping us all be aware of this sad news. Your foiled cards are so pretty!
