Hello, and welcome to the Reverse Confetti December Creative Hop! You should have arrived here from Olga Matyushevskaya’s blog. If not, you’ll want to start over on the Reverse Confetti blog so you don’t miss any of the inspiration.
I have a couple projects to share, here is the first one, I decided to use Christmas Candles:
I inked up all three candles in set and colored them pink. They’ve been backed with the larger of the two Circle Rays Duo cut in vellum.
The pine has been inked up in Pistachio and the center candle rays in Bumble Bee and the other two in Buttercup. The sentiment has been heat embossed in white on a Midnight strip of cardstock.
The background is the Big Polkas Cover Panel backed with a sheet from the Sweet Stripes 6×6.
The copics I used:
R21 | R30
R24
Y11 | YR21
W0 | W1
I was inspired by The Card Concept:
For my next project group, I made a super easy mass production design. It helps if you have a couple MISTI’s but if you don’t, you can easily do it with acrylic blocks:
I haven’t used the Christmas Circles set in awhile and I challenged myself to design a postal friendly mass production holiday card. I managed to whip up 16 of these.
I love this fun color trio:
Piggy Bank | Flamingo | RC Aqua
When my daughter spotted the design, she said that she wished our traffic lights used those colors, me too!
On my first MISTI I positioned the ho ho ho and the let’s get jolly. With the space in between, it was easy for me to load them up with the ink at the same time. The fa la la was on a separate MISTI. You could easily do this with acrylic blocks because it would be simple to ‘eyeball’ the placement of the middle circle after stamping the top and bottom images.
That’s it for me! Next up is Cindy! In case you get lost along the way, here’s the complete hop listing:

Gorgeous! LOVING the candles!
Wonderful, creative card, Amy. I love all the layers which come together for one cohesive card. The colors are spot on, too! Thanks so much for joining us at the Card Concept Challenge and we hope to see you back soon!
so fabulous. Love the giant polka dotted background on the first card and the beautiful set of cards for your second project are just as awesome.
The candles are delightful…I love the softness you achieved! The big polka dot ones are adorable…great to mass-produce! Thanks for sharing these and playing with us at The Card Concept too!
