Today is the day!  It is the start of the Newton’s Nook Designs October | Holiday Release Reveals!  I can’t wait to show you how I was inspired by this release!

Today we’re featuring:

Destination Christmas stamp + coordinating die
Christmas Campers stamp + coordinating die
Tiny Trees Stencil + Reindeer Stencil

Here’s how I was inspired:


Let’s chat about Christmas Campers first:

I teamed it up with the Tiny Trees Stencil along with the Land Border Die and Clouds stencil.  I designed a Christmas Tree Farm.  We’re back to being a fresh tree family.  We use to also have fresh trees but after the kids went to college I made the switch to artificial and then last year we went back to fresh.

For this card I also included:

Houndstooth Stencil

I did a bit of tone on tone stenciling with the reindeers…do you see them on the background panel?  The hillside has been stenciled with Houndstooth.  That VW from the Destination Christmas is fabulous.  We use to have a VW and I managed to shove a pretty tall tree inside the car too.

I’m loving the silhouette of the black trees from the Forest Scene Builder set.  Originally I had cut the birch trees and then thought that the evergreens would be a better match with the stamp.
