July Creative Hop | Reverse Confetti

Today is the day!  It’s the July 2020 Reverse Confetti Release Day!  We’re celebrating with a hop!  You should have arrived here from Adelle Emery’s blog.  If not, you’ll want to start at the beginning of the hop which is the Reverse Confetti blog.

There are so many fun new products in this release!  Here’s how I was inspired today.

I designed two cards especially for today’s hop.  Let’s chat about the Rain or Shine card first:

I didn’t get a chance to ink up that sweet duo the other day so I knew I wanted to include it today.  I mixed two panels form the Darling Dots 6×6.  The images from the Rain or Shine set are sitting on a Pierced Round Top Layers panel.

I had to add the pom on the bottom of that layer.    The sentiment is a combo of two stamps inked up in Midnight.  I’m still smitten with the pastel palette.  Here are the copics I used:

R20 | R21
YR000 | E95
Y00 | Y11
E0000 | E000

Next up is a card that features the super simple and easy Multi-Step Cacti set:

Let’s start from the bottom and work our way up.  I started with a Lime Green panel.  I ran a Premier Polar White panel through my die cutter with the Pointed Cover Panel.  I trimmed down that panel and layered it on top of the Lime Green.  I added Lime Green strip and a panel from the Sweet Stripes 6×6.

I used the Inside Scallop Circle Tag and cut a circle from a Cross Tiles Cover Panel piece.  The cacti have been inked with Lime Green + Avocado.  The peaches are Peach + Bellini.

The sentiment from This Says it All has been stamped on one of the Three Tags.  It’s been colored with copics and finished off with twine from my stash.

I’m the end of the hop!  I do have the entire hop listing below in case you got lost along the way.

Before you go, I did want to share my earlier projects:
