Google it | The Rabbit Hole Designs

I was a super lucky duck to win The Rabbit Hole Designs’ Inky set.  I whipped up two designs:
I’m not going to lie that when I made my first card [on the right], I kept looking at it.  I couldn’t figure out what it was about it that didn’t hit me and then I realized that lately my color palette has been super soft.  Once I figured it out I looked at it again, come on, it has cute images and a coffee mug [more on that in a smidge].

My card duo was inspired by the Twofer Card Challenge:
Let’s chat about each card separately.  My first card, #squidgoals, cracks me up.  Doesn’t every squid want a coffee mug?!

The mug is from the Poppy Stamps – You Melt My Heart set.  It is the perfect size for these images.  Can we call your attention to the sentiment?  Specifically the shape of the sentiment die cut?

Yup, that’s a vintage Stampin’ Up punch, the big black kind.  I’ve almost garage sale’d that so many times.  I’m glad I didn’t, it came in handy.

My card was inspired by the new to me – Crazy 4 Challenges sketch:

I was chuckling when I put my next card together.  I love that bubble pattern from Doodlebug Design, perfect for my card.

The Octo on the right is showing off his rainbow colors…LOL.  The Octo on the left is skeptical, hence the Google It, from The Rabbit Hole Designs – Sassy Sentiments.

Their expressions simply crack me up!

  1. These are so cool and funny, love both cards and I think that the coffee cup really ads some extra cuteness!

  2. I love your card on the right, Amy! The gray and coral colors are a gorgeous combination! And the second card, so funny! I totally missed the sentiment at first then read your description. Thanks so much for sharing these and joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  3. I still have that Stampin' Up punch too – always will!!! It's a perfect way to accent your sentiment with all of that cuteness going on around it! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  4. These are SO adorable, Amy! I love them both. I can't ever let go of those big punches! My grandkids love 'em, too 🙂
