Last project – 2019 Spring | Summer Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop

We just wrapped up the Friday FLASH Prize Party over in the Coffee Loving Papercrafters FB group!  Such a fun group of caffeinated crafters!  The Spring | Summer Coffee Lover’s blog hop?  A total success, there are so many gorgeous projects!

I’m popping in her quickly to share my last project for the hop.  I’m crossing my fingers that we can beat our 2018 Spring | Summer record of 1,355.  If not, we’re definitely in 2nd place!

I did a mash of different companies for this card:

Avery Elle
Kat Scrappiness
Miss Ink Stamps

While editing these photos, I couldn’t figure out why I had the Kat Scrappiness, Let’s Get Caffeinated set in the picture.  Then I remembered…

I redid the photo with my stamped envelope.  I also included the dryer sheet I used for the Kat Scrappiness Coverplate.  Love using that technique!  My die sandwich:
Kat Scrappiness Peacock Backdrop Die (face up)
A2 panel
folded dryer sheet (unscented)

I ran it through my Spellbinders machine twice.  It compresses the dryer sheet onto the A2 panel and you carefully peel it away and voila!  So much LESS mess than having all those bits all over my workspace and floor!

Thanks to everyone for stopping by!

  1. Wow, this is awesome. You really know how to feature a stamp set. I've been SO inspired on this hop. Techniques I've never seen….just SO much to see and learn. It's been amazing. Thanks again.

  2. I am liking that background die. Awesome. I love your greens and the fun coffee to go and frame. That background die really makes it a great scene.

  3. Love that Peacock Backdrop die from KS (& it's on sale!); it's gorgeous. And I have never heard of the dryer sheet technique; love it! Your card is gorgeous, Amy!!

  4. I'm so sad that I missed out on all the fun this season, amy… it certainly wasn't because I wasn't loving every caffeinated card out there! your last may be my fave… LOve that cover plate! [now figure out how to use that leftover dryer sheet – maybe embossing? lol]
