Hero Arts | Season of Wonder Release Blog Hop

Although the Hero Arts Winter release has been available at your favorite retailer, today marks the day that it is available in the Hero Arts Store!  They’re celebrating with a blog hop and I’m thrilled to hop along with them!

You should have arrived here from Clare Prezzia’s blog!  If not, you’ll want to start at the beginning of the fun, which is the Hero Arts Blog!

Be sure to leave a little love along the way – They’re
giving away two $50 shopping sprees to the Hero Arts online store, randomly
drawn from comments left across all blogs in the hop. Please comment by Sunday,
August 26th at 11:59 PM PT and they will announce the winners the following week.

I have three projects to share so let’s get started, shall we?!  My first card is one of two that are published in the Season of Wonder 2018 catalog:

It features the LP460 Angel Trio.  It’s been teamed up with the CM192 Offbeat Holiday Messages and the DI487 Bird and Banner Fancy Die.  Do you spy the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies and the Star Confetti Fancy Die?  To add pops of color, I used the PD114 Liquid Watercolor – Indigo.

Next I have a project that features the CM281 Christmas Mice:

She’s been stamped with Intense Black and colored with various alcohol markers.  I used the frame from the DI527 Deer and Ornament Fancy Die.  Do you spy the DI531 Woodgrain Texture Fancy Die, that’s a must have!
My final project was something I had been thinking of since the August My Monthly Hero optional add-ons became available:

I masked off the mountains from the CM289 Ski Holiday set so they could fit in one of the cups from the new  Cups and Handles Infinity Dies.  Do you see the CG749 Floral Doily Bold Prints has been clear embossed on the cup?  The track for the ski gondola has been heat embossed in copper.

Your next stop is the awesome Amy Kolling!  In case you get lost along the way, here’s the complete hop listing:

  1. I can handle snakes and all sorts of creatures but I'm terrified of mice! However, I think they are just darling for cards. That set it a real winner!

  2. Great projects! But that ski holiday card is my favorite! It reminds me of visiting my daughter in Portland Oregon and riding the gondola over the city! I just might need that set!

  3. Your gondola card is so genius and fun – love it! And that mouse …
so sweet & precious. I love how you layered the two ornaments as her
BG.. The angel card is lovely, too. That indigo liquid w/c is so
    pretty.

  4. All your cards are fabulous, that sweet mouse grabs my heart. Love the Woodgrain Fancy die, what a gorgeous background that makes. Thanks for the awesome inspiration and ideas.

  5. Congrats on having your cards published in the catalog!!! I'm saving my catalog to have you sign those pages! ๐Ÿ˜‰

The angel card caught my eye in the catalog so I'm so pleased to read that you designed it!! I love the wash of watercolor you added!

  6. WOW! Love the embossing on the mug and the way you did the mountains like the steam out of the mug! SO CREATIVE!

  7. Amy, your cards are fantastic. The little mouse is so darling and I love the mug scene. Terrific new release. TFS

  14. That sweet, sweet angel card is probable the most precious thing I've seen in a long time. I checked the price on the stamp set and it is so reasonable that those 3 little angles may have to come and live with me.

  15. So sweet! Love the images and styles you chose for your three cards. The angel card is beautiful, and I love the sweet little mousie. Thanks so much.

  16. Yea, my favorite… HERO ARTS. This Angel Trio is so precious Amy and the mouse is adorable. SMALL Tail. Yea! My kind of mouse! Sitting on cheese eating a cookie is just too cute. But the angels, especially the one playing the stringed instrument, took my heart. ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ

  17. Your Angel card is beautiful (it's my favorite :)). I love the little touches that you pointed out, some I would not have noticed otherwise. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration from this awesome release.

  18. My mother collected angels.
She would have loved that card (I'd

  20. Oh so clever! I've only been crafting a couple years and try to send cards every week to whoever I feel needs a pick-me-up. Thank you for the inspiration & chance to win!

  21. Love your cards – so imaginative! That little mouse is adorable, and the mountains in a cup – well, that's just WOW!

  22. Those cards are adorable. I really liked the idea of combining the cup and the mountain scene. Now that's thinking outside the box… or cup in this case ๐Ÿ˜‰
