2018 Stamping for Autism Awareness Blog Hop!

I’m joining Veronica Zalis and her 2018 Stamping For Autism Awareness Blog Hop!  Interested in learning more about Autism?  Here’s a link to the Mayo Clinic.

The theme for my cards is “words of Encouragement/Feel Good Sentiments“:

You’re Jawsome

My inspiration for this card is my friend Toni’s design, disclaimer hers is a bit more ‘graphic’ than mine.  As I was looking through my MFT stamps, I came across the Ocean Pals.  I love the play on You’re Awesome and then one thing led to another.  I ‘had’ to use the Hero Arts Paper Layering Shark. I do have to admit that the googly eyes on mine are a bit creepy.  When I was trying to take the photo, I swear it was staring at me…LOL.

I decided that I needed another card to even the balance and came up with this one that was inspired by a card I spotted on the a muse | studio Instagram feed.

It all started because I have a BOX full of stamps that I haven’t inked up.  One of them is the a muse | studio – Fierce set.  I teamed it up with the Neat & Tangled Mermazing mermaid….she always makes me smile.

Make sure you pop over to Veronica’s post for all the details, including all of the wonderful SPONSORS and thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. these are both cute, but oh my gosh, do I ever love the shark card! 🙂

what a wonderful cause to have a blog hop for!!!! my youngest son works at a therapy center that specializes in autistic spectrum care. he absolutely loves it!

  2. Most of the grand-girls would be a little scared of the shark, but there are a couple who would get a kick out of it! Especially the four-year old! It's a very cool card. And the watercoloring you've done is pretty perfect. And I do love the little mermaid. She's adorable, and the card's design is sweet. Both cards have sentiments perfect for this event, too. Great cards, my friend. Bev
