Reverse Confetti January Blog Hop!

Today is the day!  It is the Reverse Confetti  January Release Blog Hop!  That means all the new release products that we’ve been sneak peekin’ are now available in the shop!

You should have arrived here from Heather Hoffman’s awesome blog!  If not, you’ll want to start at the beginning of the fun which is the Reverse Confetti blog!

This month we welcome Wanda Cullen Samantha Mann as our ‘Fetti Friends!  For today’s hop we welcome a bunch of FABulous ‘Fetti Friends.

I have a fun giftie duo to share with you today!

I had an upcycled hinged tin that I had so much fun altering.  This is going to be a fun set to give to my Valentine💙.

Let’s chat about the card first:

My base is a Navy Blue panel that I layered a panel from the Forever  My Love 6×6 Paper pad.  I die cut a handful of the Congratulations confetti cuts.  The corrugated cardboard one is from a Starbucks sleeve.  The bloom was cut in Navy and then I layered a vellum panel and topped it off with an enamel dot from my stash.  I wanted to soften up the look and tie in the sentiment from the Heart Filled Sentiments set that has been heat embossed in white on vellum.  This card is a petite 3 x 5 inches.

I’m happy how my altered tin turned out…it will be filled with various Valentine’s chocolates including Reeses Pieces 🙂

I’ve coordinated it with the card so used the same Navy cardstock and panel from the Forever My Love 6×6.  I added those sweet cheetahs from Heart Spots are chameleons…my earlier project had them pink.  The sentiment is from the Heart Filled Sentiments set on a tag from Tag Trio.

Now hop over to Amy Sheffer’s blog!  In case you get lost along the way, here’s the complete hop listing.

  1. So adorable! The idea of using the tin is fabulous. I did that years ago and had completely forgotten about it. Might have to do one for my Valentine now.

  2. Such fun projects! Love the colors in that new paper pad! Loving this blog hop with all it's talent and inspiration! Thanks for sharing yours!

  3. you used my favorites–the cheetahs. I LOVE that you chose blue. That's why I like to see other peoples' designs. I never would have thought to do that!
