Aloha! So, if you follow me on FB or IG you may have noticed that I’ve been on vaca for the past week. We had a glorious time in Maui. My first crafting project back from vaca had to be hawaiian influenced:
I managed to use 4 different Hero Arts sets:
Color Layering Pineapple
Tropical Foliage Bold Prints
Wave Pattern Background
Let’s start at the bottom and work our way up. I started with a Foliage panel that has the Tropical Foliage Bold Prints stamped with Lime Green. I inked up the edges too. I layered a Sunshine panel that has been stamped with the Wave Pattern Background in Butter Bar.
I used the Circle Infinity Dies so I had a space to stamp the sentiment from the Hello Gorgeous set in Intense Black. I always seem to fall back on pink pineapples, and hello? Why wouldn’t I? Love the Color Layering Pineapple set. The inks for the pineapple:
Soft Pink • Cotton Candy • Bubble Gum
The pineapple greenery consists of:
Lime Green • Fresh Lawn • Green Hills
Butter Bar • Cotton Candy • Intense Black
I topped it off with twine, washi and enamel dots from my stash.

Thought I’d share the pics on my blog. I use this as a diary, not just for my design work. Darin took this gorgeous sunset photo, absolutely gorgeous eh?
LOL…Darin took this one of me. I always look so excited when I have food. This was Shave Ice with Mochi (the white stuff on top) and the bottom has Azuki Beans….a japanese delicacy…personally I could live off of the stuff. If you’re ever on Maui, make sure you check out Ululani’s!
