Hero Arts: You’re My Pick

Hello!  Did you see that Hero Arts is having a March My Monthly Hero blog hop?!  At the time that I type up this post, the March Kit is still available!
Today I’m sharing a card that I designed using one of the the Optional Add-on products, Produce and Seeds.

Such a fun set, love the puns!

The beets…love them.  I actually do love beets.  I think either you love them or you think they taste like dirt…LOL.

The Moss Bold Ink looks great on that Foliage panel, doesn’t it?

My card was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

  1. I guess I need to try beets again. Haven't had them in years and years but can remember picking them out of grandma's garden. Your card is a delight! That sentiment is awesome; I say things like that to DH all the time, lol! And that moss ink is such a pretty green! This looks like a great kit, too. I'm love those little bunnies and all the veggies. Have a great weekend. Bev

  2. Love your card design and those colors together, Amy. This HA kit and those
    add-ons are so sweet! 🙂

  3. Hi Amy! Great card, love the two tone green and the kraft together. Yes you're right, I don't love them or hate them. I think it depends on how they're cooked. If there's spices involve they're much better, plain they really do have that dirt taste, lol. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

  4. Be still, my vegie loving heart. Love that you kept the beet in your card, ha ha :). Yep, I think they taste like dirt, but still love them… just a third option :). Every Sunday morning we drink a "vitamin bomb" juice, composed of beet, carrots, celery and a mix of fruit we have at home… yum! All this just to say I LOVE your card!

  5. This card is so you with the color combination and the addition of the veggie you added. 🙂 I'm not a beets girl. When they were part of our CSA last summer, I would often pass them up as my husband didn't care for them either. They are just too earthy for my liking. I am hoping to find time to play with my HA kit today as it came last Friday and I've just been too busy to do anything with it other than to open it. As a matter of fact, I still haven't done anything with my February HA kit either! Eek!
