I know, right?!  TONS of goodness but remember, the Main Kit is available for a limited time only…when it’s gone, it is gone!   (Edited to add:  Kit is SOLD OUT).  Kits begin shipping from Hero Arts on Monday, February 13th.  Remember that you can now SUBSCRIBE to receive the kit monthly and never miss one!

Hero Arts is giving away one kit as a prize to one blog reader – selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Giveaway closes Sunday, February 12th at 11:59pm, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the  following week.

Here’s the card that I made especially for today’s hop:

I worked with the main kit today.  I’ve always gravitated towards rain, rainbows, umbrellas….it’s probably because I live in Washington State.  Although truthfully, as I type up this post it is snowing like crazy.  I knew that I wanted to use that girl with the umbrella and color her with a yellow raincoat and yellow rain boots.  The orange umbrella pops with the Pool Mixed Layering Paper panel, doesn’t it?
The sequin mix is from an earlier My Monthly Hero kit but psssstttt….in the new catalog there are some sequin mixes!  They will be available in the Hero Arts store on February 14th!
In case you missed the Countdown to Creativity post from Saturday, I also shared this card on the Hero Arts Blog:

I love how the ombre rain showers turned out and who can resist a rainbow of umbrellas?!

Isn’t the February kit FABulous?!  Remember to pick up your kit TODAY because when it’s gone, it’s gone!

Next up is the wonderful Clare Prezzia!
In case you get lost along the way, here is the full hop listing:

  36. I love your shaker. This kit is wonderful. It was your umbrella card that convinced me to order when it first became available. Wish I had added the clouds now lol.

  37. Great cards! I really like the little raindrops and umbrellas! Weather is so weird–in Texas we're having almost a record-high of 85 for today (in February!).

  38. Love your rainy day card…cant wait for my kit to arrive so I can copy it! Thanks.

  39. Great cards, Amy! I especially like the one about dancing in the rain. I first became familiar with that saying when I had cancer and was going through chemo. I had a T-shirt that said "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain." So the expression on that stamp has a special place in my heart. Thanks so much for sharing.

  40. Your cards are darling. This looks like another great kit. I really like the elephant stamp add -on.

  41. HI Amy, I love your cute cards! the shaker box card is so sweet and the umbrellas, great card. Love this Kit and the add-ons.

  42. I loved your umbrella card from the other day – gorgeous bright colour. The rainy day shaker card is a wonderful idea, with the blue sequins for the rain drops – thank you so much for sharing!

  43. Love your cards, the rainbow umbrellas are gorgeous and happy, but what I like the most is the rain… looks so real! This kit has super sweet images and so many fantastic add-ons.

  44. Who doesn't love a shaker card? The umbrella colors are so vibrant and really pop on that card! Thanks for sharing your work!

  46. What a gorgeous card! Who can resist any kind of rainbow. It always brings a smile. Thanks so much for sharing

  47. That cute little shaker card is the perfect way to make me look forward to springtime! So sweet and colorful

  48. Umpteen apologies for being MIA; my scheduled 7 days of marking diploma exams transformed into 12 (talk about blurry eyes!) which saw me falling behind in leaving real comments. Hopefully, you received the thought-bubble ones, as your gallery is, as always, a delight! Your umbrella cards make me smile! The shaker is charming; the rainbow umbrellas, marvelous!
    Hugs~c

  49. Love the umbrella rainbow-so colorful and bright. This kit is wonderful and I can't wait for mine to arrive!

  50. Hi Amy! Shaker, my fav, lol. I love the cheery colors, very pretty. It sold out before I could snag it, first time that's ever happened me 🙁 As soon as the animal set comes back in stock Imcan at least get that along with some of the other add ons. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

  51. beautiful cards! dancing in the rain… could be something better than that??? no way!

  52. Both cards are fabulous, Amy! I am from WA state so know all about the rain there. The bright yellow boots & coat are a must have there. Your card is a sure day brightener!

  53. Beautiful cards!!! I really love your first one. I love the colors you used and the sentiment is wonderful!! Thanks for the chance to win this amazing kit.

  54. Love what you can do with umbrellas, I'd have to get out the watercolor pencils fast if I had this wonderful kit. I'd be dancing in the rain, thrilled!

  55. These look like great cards to send to a friend who needs a pick-me-up encouragement. Thank you for sharing.

  56. What a lovely shaker card. Great idea…. It is such a cute kit, it's a shame it is already sold out.

  57. Really like both your cards. WisH Hero Arts made more of the product so it wouldn't sell out so fast.

  58. Love the color combo on your dancing in the rain shaker card. That Dance in the rain sentiment brings back fond memories of a trip I took with a very dear friend. It rained, a lot! On the return trip we passed by a road called "Dance Hall Road" (in the pouring rain). I've always wanted to make her a card with that sentiment!

  59. I love your shaker card. The rainbow umbrellas are super fun, too! That card is part of what pushed me over the edge to get this kit!

  60. I'm starting to recognize the names on the hop because you guys are on a lot of blog hops. Wish I had a blog so I could join all of you and show you what I do. For now I just have to let my legs hop along or should I say my fingers since my legs can't type, just hop. LOL
I love that you made a shaker card. So far you are the first one to do that. I also love that you used my favorite color in your card, yellow. Yellow is not used often enough is what I say and with this kit, yellow will be used way more then anyone ever does except me. My sister sells things with her photographs on them like purses and cosmetic bags. She even made some umbrella's but they were to expensive to make and sell all the time. I have one and it's amazing because the image on it is the inside of a kaleidoscope! I know you can't do that with your umbrella but if I had this kit and I hope I get to win one, I would put polka dots on the umbrella, boots and rain coat. Orange and green dots would be my first choice. then rainbow colors for a second choice. Great coloring and stamping and thank you for giving us a chance to win something. I can't wait!

  61. Forgot to mention how much I love the row of colorful umbrellas. That one is right up my alley!

  62. Two fabulous cards, Amy!! Your bright colors and design is fantastic! Love your work!!

  63. These are adorable cards! Unfortunately I missed getting the kit and the add on I want is also sold out. Great kit though

  64. Really lovely cards, Amy! I especially love that girl holding the umbrella…and the kit is wonderful!👏🏻

  65. Fun cards! I love this kit – it looks so versatile & has so many different elements! Thanks for sharing!
