Ruby’s Bridal Shower blog hop!


I’m so thrilled to be the happy hostess for Ruby’s Bridal Shower.  If you haven’t heard the news, the big day happened on Saturday, September 24th.

We’ve rounded up a bunch of crafty friends to celebrate, papercrafter style!  If you happened upon my blog, welcome!  I’m the start of the hop!

Before you hop around, here are a  couple words from the blushing bride:

“Steve and I are very excited about starting a new life together. We look forward to beautiful memories in a new home and lots of adventures overall. We are grateful for the support and love from our family and friends. My heart is full, and I truly feel so blessed and loved. :)”

This is the inspiration photo for the wedding cake:

I thought it would make a gorgeous theme for the hop!

Here’s how it inspired me:

I was going to be very literal with how I designed the beautiful cake from Concord & 9th – Happy Day set….but decided that the glitter would be EVERYWHERE.  I kept with the overall pink theme and incorporated the gold with Delicata Gold and using the Avery Elle Tea Time set…can you spot the stamp I used?

I hope you can see the Delicata shimmer in this close up…

Love how it turned out!  The Congrats is from the Winnie & Walter – The Big, the Bold and You Cutaways.
