Happy Birthday Kate! Coffee & Friends

I consider myself so lucky to be surrounded by an awesome group of crafty friends.  We try to gather once a month and I gotta tell you…there is so much chatting + laughing + eating.  Seriously —-> Good Times

Kate is one of the fantastic people I get to spend time with and today is her birthday!!!!  We’re celebrating with a blog hop!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Kate!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kate is a true coffee connoisseur…so I knew that I wanted to design a coffee card!  She not only creates gorgeous projects but she can sew up a storm..my next hobby!  She has a lovely home and a huge heart

I used the fun Uniko, I Love Coffee set.  I paper pieced the cup with journaling cards!  I might have a bazillion of them.  I had to top off the coffee sleeve with a wood veneer and sneak some gold glittery cardstock on there.

Did you know that there is a brand new feature over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog called Sponsor Solo?  The First Sponsor is:  Uniko

Make sure you check out my other crafty friends to see what they created for Kate:

and pop over to Kate’s blog to post happy birthday wishes!

  2. Wonderful card for your friend, Kate. Love the sweet To-Go cup and one of your bazillion Journaling cards, Amy! 🙂

  3. Awesome coffee card! Love that touch a glittered border too. Kate is going to love this 🙂

  4. THANK YOU Amy!! I hopped around yesterday, but as I told Kimberly, it ended up being a busy afternoon, teaching until 9pm (after which I promptly passed out– too much gluten and sugar!!). Though it was a more leisurely morning– and I did enjoy the sun on the beach with a cup of coffee in hand!!! Love your card and that you all remembered my day– means a lot. Looking forward to seeing you soon my friend!! <3

  5. Such a fabulous coffee card, Amy! You're very lucky to have such a wonderful group of crafty friends that you can get together with, I must admit I'm jealous 😉
