Check out the awesome youtube video of the My Monthly Hero!
There are several sneak peeks on the blog that started on October 1st…here’s my sneak peek card! I used the poinsettia stamps that is in My Monthly Hero (MMH).
I’m a big fan of making my own ‘graphic paper’ with cardstock. It’s simply trimming the same size strips and alternating them. You can’t go wrong with red + white. I layered 4 different inks on the blooms. For all the deets, check out THIS post over on the Hero Arts blog.
Here’s a peek at the My Monthly Hero:
For today’s kit reveal I made another card. I started off with Hero Arts Kraft paper that I ran through my crimper…I know, I still have my handy dandy one by Fiskars:
I love the look of a corrugated base. It adds a rustic charm to the card. The Snow white paper has been layered with a slice of Blush Mix. I stamped on the Blush Mix panel, layering the poinsettia with Red Royal Mid Tone Shadow Ink and topped it off with Hero Hues Gold metallic. It adds the right bit of glitz! Today’s card features the other sentiment in the stamp set…isn’t the font beautiful?!
There are so many color variations you can create for this stamp set!
The creative team, along with a few of our favorite bloggers, are also sharing inspiration on their blogs today – visit each of them to see the kit in action!!

Loving these! What a pretty poinsettia stamp, and I love how you've used it! Looks so cool stamped tone-on-tone with the gold overlay! And I love the color blend you used on the first one, too. Your corrugated card base is super fun! Love that you pulled out your old tool to make that. I'm sure I've still got my Fiskars crimper, too! LOL!
Cool tone on tone. Have not crimped in a bit. Reminder to use tools. Thanks.
