For those of you that have been following me for a while.  You know that the baby of the family, the boy, is leaving for college soon.  I’m stock piling cards to be able to send to the boy and the girl while they are away at college.

Who doesn’t love frozen treats?!  We have had such a hot summer this year that I would have them everyday, if I could 🙂  Don’t you love those Let’s Chill Confetti Cuts?  The popsicle ‘sticks’ are upcycled coffee sleeves.  Each of the popsicles have been mounted on white craft foam so in real life, they have some fun BAM to them.  That miss you sentiment is from Fancy Word Coordinates, it is so me.

  1. Hi Amy! Gorgeous card, I love how you play and combine patterns so beautifully. I think it is a great card for a boy. Btw, I'm sending the best wishes to your kiddos, I'm sure your son will do great in college… and he will have a lot of paper love, since his mum (that's you!) is a very prolific crafter 🙂

  7. Oh sweet Amy. They come home. And they missed their mommies. A LOT. Trust me on this….. But cards like this help tremendously. A little taste of home and mom! Having raised your son right, he'll be the man you've always dreamed he'd become. He has the courage you've given him to go. I'm proud of you both. Hang in there.   23. SUCH a great card, my friend! I love the tall skinny shape and love the paper combo! There's a touch of patriotic flair to this that really grabs my attention, and I love those popsicles, too! I know the boy is going to adore this! You are such a good momma! My boy moved back into his dorm yesterday…. sigh
