Hello Hello!

I’m thrilled to be hopping with the girls at Latina Crafter!   You should have arrived here from the Latina Crafter Blog!   Remember to start there, because that is where the fun begins!   I met Diana of the Latina Crafter through the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops and if you’re a coffee lover, you’re going to LOVE this hop!

Let’s get started, shall we?!  First up is a card I designed with the Coffee is best with a Friend:

I tend to always gravitate to green with coffee cards, how about you?  Isn’t that sentiment fun?!  Love the mixed font!

My card was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch:
Next up is a 4.25 inch square card with OCD:
cardstock:  stampin’ up basic black, strathmore watercolor  stamps:  latina crafter ocd  ink:  ranger archival black, fresh ink refill/cocoa  other:  a jillian vance design/chalkboard backdrop die, sizzix tim holtz embossing folder
This stamp totally cracked me up…Obsessive Coffee Disorder….love that!  I teamed it up with a fun coffee embossing folder by Sizzix/Tim Holtz.  The coffee stain?  I actually just pooled some Fresh Ink Cocoa refill and then dipped the bottom of the bottle and make a ring:)
One cup at a time:
cardstock:  papertrey ink vellum  paper:  basic grey kioshi  stamps:  latina crafter/one cup at a time  ink:  ranger archival black  other:  spellbinders ovals, freckled fawn metal bloom
I love this sentiment and wanted it to be the star of the show!  Since the floral pattern was pretty busy, I softened it up by adding a layer of vellum.  The bloom is a fun embellishment made of metal.
Whew, we’re onto my last card for today’s hop!

I’m no Quitter….Gotta love a To Go cup!  I’m such a fan of watercoloring!  The background was done with Kuretake Gansai Tambi while the To Go cup was colored with Peerless watercolors.

  39. I'm so blessed and honored that you say yes!! Your cards are absolutely GORGEOUS!! Love them all. Like the way you used the vellum, never occur to me use it that way, LOL, thanks for the tip!! I tend to go with blue for coffe, LOL, maybe it's relaxing the thing that comes to my mind?? will have to think about that one!! oh mine!! the stain tip is awesome too, need to visit you and learn some tricks!! The watercolor effect is super nice, I can't get it right, but I will keep trying, I love how it looks!!

  49. I recently had bariatric surgery and I can not drink liquids, they hurt my stomach but I can still drink my coffee, my husband said I am spending enough $ at Starbucks to buy my own store. I want to make him a card using the I'd quit drinking coffee but I am no quitter! Just love, love, love this set!
