Happy Mother’s Day!

One of my FAV days of the year…Happy Mother’s Day!

This goes out to all the Mothers, Aunties and Friends out there.
flowers courtesy of my momma.
So, I was thinking I wasn’t going to post today because yesterday I managed to create 9 cards, photog & schedule their blog posts.  I know you know how much work that is.  Last night my Momma and I picked up the girl and we went out to dinner HERE.   We were going to go to the cemetery to leave flowers for my Grandma (see flowers above) but we got there just as they were closing…can you believe the janitor wouldn’t let us in?!  We were running late because I didn’t know the bridge was closed so I ended up taking the scenic route to the university…let’s just say we were in the car for a long time before we had dinner.

Anywho’s, while I wait for the kidlets to wake up make me breakfast, I created this:

cardstock:  pti white, unknow grey  stamps:  neat and tangled tiny triangles, Impress northwest  ink:  memento luxe rose bud, zing white embossing

I love the Chickaniddy Craft Gold Foil but work on trying to capture it in my photography…that stuff is rascally.  I love anything and everything pacific northwestern-y.  The sentiment is by Impress and the Space Needle die is Savvy.  I broke out my Memento Luxe Rose Bud.

How about that Tiny Triangles stamp by Neat & Tangled?  I love it for it’s size, 3×4.   I sprinkled some Gold Metallic Sequins, because you can never have too much gold on a card {wink}.

I’m playing along with

Gotta love Wida’s style!

I’m also playing with Taheerah’s

I was inspired by:

gold & grey
pop of magenta
triangles

Have you seen that “Job Interview” video floating around FB?  Well, my boy had me watch it yesterday and {for pete’s sake} I cried.  As I constantly try to figure out ‘what I want to do when I grow up’, I’m certain that being a Momma has been the best job that I can ever have.

  1. Love the card and I can just see you trying to convince the janitor to let you in the cemetery. I love Lilacs. We have two huge trees and they are just starting to get little leaf buds so it will be about a month before we get flowers.
