Epic Times | Mama Elephant Monday

I was one of the lucky 121’ish people that attended the It’s Always An Adventure – Mama Elephant event last weekend. I traveled in with my friend Kerry and we met up with our friend Tonya.

We had so much fun! Lots of chatting and crafting. It truly was good for the soul. I ended up shopping quite a bit so I’m going to be switching off on Monday’s with Merry & Bright Monday’s with Mama Elephant Monday’s.

Today’s card features the SNEAK PEEKS from the March Release!

The ink blending was done with these distress oxides:

  • Kitsch Flamingo
  • Dried Marigold
  • Mustard Seed

The flat sequins are by This Calls for Confetti – Pink Pearl Iridescent Confetti Sequins [retired] – from my stash but they were a sponsor for Kristina Werner’s class. Today’s card was inspired by one of the cards that we made in Kristina’s class:

I need to fix the wrinkles but wanted to show you the card.

Rather than using the copic W’s, I went with greens for today’s card. Here are a couple more pics from last weekend:

I tell you, a February crafty weekend is just what I needed.

The card base on this card is a bit skinny at 3.50 x 5.50 inches.
