Happy Thursday, there is a new Inspired By…challenge! Every Thursday there will be a new inspiration photo and optional sketch!

Here’s how I was inspired:

I was inspired by the:

  • flowers
  • color
  • sketch

I’m featuring the following products:

  • Impress – 5632F – Cherry Blossom Branch
  • Impress – 5719H – Thin Stripe Border
  • A Muse – Little Things [retired]

I’ve been loving the Lawn Fawn – Crunchy Leaf ink. I think it looks wonderful with those pink blooms. The copics I used:

  • R00 | R30
  • YG00 | YG03
  • E41

The plaid panel is Concord & 9th – Powder cardstock + Harbor ink.

I can’t wait to see how my teamies were inspired. We hope that you’ll join in the fun!

I’m also linking up to the Woodblock Wednesday Challenge:

I do actually have a boot stamp but opted for the cherry blossom stamp since I recently returned from a glorious trip to Japan with the kids:

We were lucky to catch the cherry blossoms. They are always so gorgeous. If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen this pic:

This pic was taken on Shodoshima, it was where my Mom was born. Behind us in Angel Road:

Angel Road is a natural phenomenon that can only be seen twice a day when the tide ebbs. As the water level lowers, a natural sandbar is revealed between the mainland and a small island.

My girl did all the driving during that part of our trip. Big high fives for her – sitting on the right and driving on the left – and acclimating to that so quickly.

  1. What a wonderful trip 😍 Kudos to your daughter for driving! So excited that you were able to get to your mom’s hometown ❤️ What timing as I’m sure you all crossed that road! I bet she is enjoying all the photos you are sharing!!

  2. A gorgeous card Amy – love your background, very clever use of the stamp, and the wee spray looks beautiful against it. What a wonderful trip you must have had
    Blessings
