Happy National Cocoa Day | Coffee Loving Cardmakers

Happy National Cocoa Day!  We’re celebrating over on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog with a TON of inspiration AND a contest!  Link up a newly created COCOA card for a chance to be a future Guest Designer.  You also have a chance to win a $20 Gift Card from your favorite Super Sponsor by leaving comments on participating designer blogs for a chance to win.
I couldn’t wait to ink up the Pink & Main- Mugs and Kisses set!  I kept seeing these images on projects for the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers blog hop and couldn’t resist picking it up.

I ended up designing two 4.25 x 4.25 inch cards.  I went super clean and simple.  Let’s chat about Rudolph first:

I used the same design for both cards.  The pattern paper is from my stash:  Echo Park – Lumberjack Christmas along with the We R Memory Keepers embossing folder.

That reindeer is so cute!  They’re made to be able to fill the mugs with different ‘toppings’.

The Santa is what sold me on the set.  I just love his sweet face.

Both cards were inspired by Freshly Made Sketches:

Remember to check out the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog for the contest and to hop over to my teamies projects too.  Leaving comments on their blog posts makes you eligible to win a $20 Gift Card from your favorite Super Sponsor.  The winner is picked from across all designer blogs so the more you comment, the more the chance to win.

Thanks for stopping by my little blog.  Things are a bit chaotic because of me…I didn’t realize I had changed up my blog theme and now it is stuck.  I’m in the process of working towards moving over to wordpress so excuse the mess.

  1. These mugs are too cute! Love the pretty cards you created! Great patterned paper and embossing folder for the finishing touch!

  2. Such charming images!! I love your use of them on this sketch – with the lumberjack paper and the bold polka dots – a great combination! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  3. these mugs just bring a huge smile to my face. I actually own a couple of Santa mugs that look a lot like these ones. My kids used to drink cocoa from them every winter.

  4. Cute. I have the stamp/die and now inspired to use. Want to know what embossing folder used?
