Here’s how I was inspired:

I started off with the Essentials by Ellen Sweet Surprises bear and stocking.  See that Partridge in a Pear Tree?  That’s from the Twelve Days set.  Don’t mind the friendly choke hold that bear has on the ‘lil guy.  I did some custom cutting on the bear, more on that in a bit.
I stuffed the stocking with images from the Holiday Characters set.

The tag is a trimmed down version of the Nordic Cross Cover.  The ‘hanger’ is from the Reverse Confetti Inside Scallop Circle Tag.

The customized cutting on the bear that I managed to do gives you the sense that he’s ‘holding’ the partridge.  I stamped 2 bears out, one I die cut and colored.  The other one, I cut away his arms, colored them and then used glue to tack them down.  I made sure that his hands were free so that I could slip the partridge in his arm.

  5. I just love this so much. I come from a family of 12 so the thought of this bear holding a different day of Christmas in his hands would make great tags for everyone. Thanks for the inspiration!

  6. Awesome job with the song adding the partridge in the stocking, very cute. My Twelve Days by Julie is packed so I had to improvise.
