December Creative Hop | Reverse Confetti

It’s the 8th of the month which means it is the Reverse Confetti Creative Hop!  You should have arrived here from Dana Kirby’s blog.  If not, you’ll want to start at the beginning which is the Reverse Confetti blog.

Here’s how I was inspired:

I did a bit of ‘mass producing on this one’.  I wanted it to have a caffeinated theme, loads of details but ‘quick’ to assemble.

My overall color palette:

Brick   |   Sand   |   White

I managed to ‘whip up’ 12 of this design.
I wanted the design to have a caffeinated theme so I used the Drink More Coffee set.  I ordinarily would have colored the entire cup + saucer but because I wanted to complete these in a shorter amount of time, I went ahead and just copic colored the top of the coffee design.

I used the newly release Snowflake Season image.  It’s been heat embossed in white on Sand cardstock to mimic a cookie.

The peace is from the Layered Peace confetti cuts set but I didn’t use the outline.  I wanted to keep the design clean + simple.

The background is Along the Dotted Lines and the larger of the Circle Rays Duo set.

Do you like to mass produce?  In my earlier days of cardmaking, I would make a ton of the same design for holiday cards.  I don’t do that anymore.  Mass production is difficult for me, I get easily distracted.

My design was based on the Inspired By…challenge:
