my project in 2018 to improve my card making skills as far as I can and to participate in 100 days project with 100 cards

  10. Wow!! That’s a great way to share kindness!! Thank you so much everyone for coming together! 🙂 Happy New Year 🙂
My crafty goal is to spread more smiles and make sure I do not miss sending out cards to crafty friends 🙂

  11. Gorgeous creations and a fabulous prize. My resolution is to include more hand-drawn elements (e.g. backgrounds) on my cards, and to learn calligraphy. Thanks for the chance to win, and Happy New Year 🙂

  12. Wow I love how you photograph your creations and how different these are and how you have photographed them too. I need to have some help in how to photograph my projects. I am a new crafters since I had to leave work due to ill health. I have to craft to keep away the dark days and because I am often bed bound I need something to keep my mind busy. You have been very generous in your 'Give-away Prize'. In 2018 my resolution is to use up my current stash of card stock and DSP (SIMPLIFY my stock) and not purchase any more but find projects that they can be used for. So I need to be more creative too! Happy 2018! :O)

  13. Happy New Year! Thank you for inspiring me to create throughout 2017 and here's to more fun in 2018. This year I hope to find more time to create and my resolution is to create at least 10 cards a month.

  14. These are all great cards Amy, I was surprised more weren't coffee related, haha. (I love coffee too.)
I am still working on mastering my water colouring…its going to take a while I guess.
    Have a wonderful NEW Year.

  15. Wow! What a fabulous beginning for 2018 with all this awesome eye candy! Looking forward to the next 364 days of your creations 🙂

  16. Happy New Year! What a wonderful selection of cards!
I am hoping to work on my Copic Colouring skills this year, and start colouring with coloured pencils, too! Here's to hoping I manage to do so! 🙂
    Thanks for the lovely giveaway!

  17. Happy 2018, Amy! You've gotten us all to think about coffee in new ways and I have enjoyed following your journey. Simplify is a good word for 2018 and I see that many of my goals fit into that category as well. Goals? Practice coloring, simplify my organization of materials, build up my followers, and create with images that make everyone smile like this one! kren @ http://afourthlife.blogspot.com

  18. One other thing I noticed…. a broader color palette! 😉 Is aqua the new green? 🙂

Happy New Year, Amy!! I wish you peace and happiness this year! Love your OLW – such a great one too!! I haven't given much thought to one this year, but I should. Needless to say, I'm happy 2018 is here as the last part of 2017 was tough. One thing I'd like to work on in 2018 is creating again and finding joy in the little things.

  19. I want to learn Watercoloring and somehow combine that with brush lettering that I am learning. Thanks for the chance to win and Happy New Year!

  20. You ROCKED it this year!!!! I have loved seeing everything you have made!!! And I GOT to meet you this year!!!!!! Happiness is 🙂 And LOVING your OLW!!!!! Happy New Year!!!

  21. thanks for the tips on being a No-reply blogger.
It gets so frustrating when you never see who
won a prize – figure the giver never picked
somebody. Spend a lot of time going back to
their post looking for the winner too.
Please let me know if I'm a no-reply blogger.
    I don't have a blog – just a facebook page
    that I post to. thanks.
    HAPPY NEW YEAR

  22. My goal is to gently guide hubs to clean out the garage…even if it means I have to be out there with him! Loved seeing your crafty year in review. Thanks for your presence in "blogland" as an inspiring designer!

  23. I'm going to try to stay organized this year and use a planner. I tend to feel guilty about my crafty time, but if I'm organized and finish all the other things during the day I can craft guilt free! (we own our own business that I do the books for, and I have a little farm, plus 5 dogs… so lots to do!) Also my crafty goal is to get better at coloring… thinking about taking the Kit & Clowder coloring class monthly!

  24. FAB giveaway! "simplify" is a good one. 2018 will be a busy one for me (renovation continues, work, taking grad classes beyond masters to move on pay scale, continuing leasing the card classes for my colleagues etc.) so I'll need to manage my time efficiently. Making time to craft is my happy place! Well, that and COFFEE, lol Happy New Year, Amy! May 2018 bring many blessings to you and your family.

  25. Thanks for the chance to win! One of my crafty goals for 2018 is to learn hand lettering. Happy 2018!

  26. I see some that are my faves too and some I hadn't seen before! Love them all! Great post! In 2018 I think my word will be balance. I'd love to have time in my room that is less frantic and less time at work during tax season. Also better at mailing out the cards I make. Btw..happy Mail on its way to you tomorrow… Lol!

  27. Happy New Year! Love all your fabulous creations. For three years I have been mostly absent from blogging and hopping. I finished school and embarked on a new career. I'd like to get back to card making, scrapbooking, and blogging again this year. Which means I have to take some time out for me. Thank you for the chance to win your fabulous prize. hollysilva911@hotmail.com

  28. Love all your inspiration. Hard to pick a favorite. I definitely want to work on my coloring skills. Great giveaways on this hop!!

  30. Amazing projects from 2017! I wasn't able to spend much time crafting in 2017, I hope to find more time to get inky in 2018. Happy 2018!

  31. I realized after I hit "Publish" that I had not included an email address. It's simply patjandacek@gmail.com. I deleted the entry since there was no way to add to it, and thought I could simply fill that space with my corrected entry. I'm sorry for the unintentional loss of #48. I enjoyed seeing your creations and wish you a Happy New Year.

  32. Your cards are beautiful and I like all of the coffee ones (lol). This year I want to tackle my mountains of photos (and I just got an offer from Shutterfly of 250 free prints so that will add to my mountain) and scrapbook more.

  33. I love your style, Amy. Great look-back. 🙂 I'm going to work on getting better at CAS cards in 2018. I don't know if I'm a no-reply blogger so just in case…atticelf(at)comcast(dot)net Happy 2018!

I actually have two words this year Confidence and Positivity. I want to become more confident with my creations and plan to post more of my projects and also enter them in challenges! I also plan to let go of the negatives in my life and focus on the positives! Life is too short to dwell on the negative things and when I die I want to leave my little corner of the world a little brighter!

My New Years crafty plan is to learn one new technique per month and to share this in my monthly ‘Build Your Stash’ class, where I encourage others to share their new ideas. I do this card making class for all the events in our lives. We have all created a beautiful ‘box’ where we store our ‘Stash’ cards so that they are easy to find when an event comes up. I love being surrounded by my friends and family and helping each of them to keep their passion for paper crafting alive in their hearts!

  79. Amy, I just absolutely love all your cards and, especially, your passion for crafting! You've been such a positive influence and for that: heartfelt thanks! Resolutions: do my pencil colouring class homework *grin*, focus on the things I love about card-making – such as using stamps, dies and ink – and quit stressing about what causes me grief (like water-colouring! So done with that!); send more cards throughout the year. In the non-crafting realm: read more, workout more, smile more, try to be 'calm' more (that's a challenge, trust me!). Thank you for the awesome inspiration today…and every day! Happy New Year! Simplify: I like that!

I also want to use more of the supplies that I have to do new techniques and see what I love (or if it's not for me) so that I can narrow down my crafty stash to what suits my style and not be so overwhelmed with "stuff."
