2017 Hero Arts Summer Catalog Blog Hop

Hello!!!  The Hero Arts Summer Catalog Products are now in the Hero Arts online store!  We are celebrating with a hop!  You should have arrived here from my awesome teamie May Park’s blog.  If not, you’ll want to start at the beginning which is the Hero Arts  Blog!

Hero Arts will be giving away three $25 shopping sprees, drawn from comments left across all blogs in the hop. Please comment by Wednesday, May 24th at 11:59pm PT and Hero Arts will announce the winners the following week.

I used the Floral Mix Layering Papers with the Tea Pot and Tea Cup.  They have been stamped with the CG707 Brushstroke Bold Prints and Orchid Hero Arts Bold Ink.  The sentiment is from the CM130 Color Layering Hydrangea set which has been stamped in Chalkboard Dye ink.  The frame was made using the Nesting Rectangle Dies.

I did a bit of watercoloring for the background and for the tea.

Next up is a card that uses the CM169 Enjoy The Journey set:

I’m a huge fan of all things nautical.  I stamped the anchor repeatedly on a panel from the Earth Mix Layering Paper pack in Cup O’ Joe.  The sentiments have been stamped in Intense Black.  I used the coordinating Frame Cuts on the bottle and stamped it in Charcoal on Ranger Watercolor Paper.  The cork has been stamped in Cup O’ Joe.  For ease of watercoloring I used Distress Oxide inks for the ship, water and background.

I finished it off with some twine, nice pop of color, don’t you agree?

That’s it for me…up next is our Fab Guestie, Cheiron Brandon!

In case you get lost along the way, here’s the full hop listing:

  7. I've got to get that oh ship stamp! You have much more self control than me-if I did that teapot it would be covered in flowers and sequins!

  8. Love both cards but the ship in the bottle is my favorite. I,too, like all things nautical as I live on the coast of Maine.
