I LOVE this month’s products, how about you?!  I made 2 cards especially for today’s hop!

My first one features the optional add-on set, Welcome Home and their coordinating Frame Cuts.  I couldn’t resist designing a sweet cozy scenery:

All the pieces have been stamped with Chalkboard Shadow Ink and colored with Zig Clean Color Markers.  Do you see the “hardwood floors”?  I used the Designer Woodgrain stamp inked up with Soft Brown Shadow Ink.  The “sending warm hugs” wall decor has been cut with the Circle Infinity Dies.  The sentiment has been stamped with Versamark and heat embossed in White.

I love puns, and couldn’t wait to use the You’re a Fungi set!  The Marble Paper (color may vary) in the Main Kit is absolutely DELISH.  I honestly wanted to hoard the sheet but decided to make it part of my overall card design.

Let’s start with the Marble sheet, I lined my envelope with it.  My intention is to hand deliver this card so that the recipient can easily reuse the envelope.  I tied the envelope to the card by adding a strip of the same gorgeous paper to my card.  The watercoloring was done using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi set.  I stamped the morels and colored them with Zig Clean Color markers.  The sentiment has been inked with Versamark and heat embossed in White on black cardstock.

Do you spy the flecks of gold?  I finished off my card with black twine.

In case you didn’t see my earlier Hero Arts Countdown to Creativity post, I wanted to share it here.  It focuses on supplies from the Main Kit only:

Those bunnies are the cutest, aren’t they?  I clear embossed a bunch of images on the Foliage panel.  The curved panel was achieved by using the Nesting Oval Infinity Dies.   By not feeding my entire panel through my die cutting machine, I was able to just cut a curved border.

Whew!  That’s it for me!  Isn’t the March Kit and all of the optional add-ons awesome?!

Next up is the Fabulous Libby Hickson!
