Pebbles Inc Mini Card set

Several weeks ago, we made a road trip to the lovely city of Sequim, WA.    To the average Washingtonian, it might be known for their weather (less than 16 inches, similar to Los Angeles) but for crafters it is known for Doodlebugs.  A cute brick & mortar shop filled with goodness.

Surprisingly, I didn’t go home with any stamps but I picked up what I went there for, a Doodlebug Design 6×6 of Cream & Sugar….plus a couple of other things.
I love paper, love it.  Do I have a ton already, yes, but that doesn’t have any bearing on buying anymore, does it (smiles)?

We thoroughly enjoyed browsing through the shop and had a great tutorial using the New Tim Holtz Hipster set.

I snapped some photos of the cards that they had displayed throughout their store, awesome inspiration.  Here’s the thing, I do this like I pin on pinterest.  You know, I pin but never create or cook or bake it…LOL.

Super proud that I turned over a new leaf and look what I designed, all based on some fabulous samples they had in their shop:

I bought this sheet of the Pebbles Inc Spring Fling:

Everything else I used on my card set is from my stash but the overall design was inspired by the shop!  I used an older Studio Calico paper pad for the text panels, the Stampin’ Up So Saffron was cut with a Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Squares die and the cardbases are by  American Crafts that I trimmed down to 4.25 x 4.0 inches.

Super Quick and great to bundle as a gift for any of my non-crafty friends.

I’m doing an IG Giveway sponsored by Doodlebugs!  Thanks to my friends at Doodlebugs for the fun time💚

  1. OH I LOVE cards like these!! I have a ton of papers that I could do this with too. I am a paper whore (was thinking how bad I was today too with paper as I have a HUGE basket ready to be paid for full of it at sb.com) Thank you for the inspiration. I think I need to go through my stash now!!

  2. Wow! Love the collection you created! The patterned paper in the background is a beautiful backdrop to the focal image and colors you chose. Spring is surely almost here! 🙂
