2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day Two: Warm Wishes

Have you been enjoying all the inspiration from the hop?!  I know that I am!  I decided to do a different type of project this time around:
It was actually perfect timing because I went to my Crafty Group Holiday Gathering this afternoon and we do a gift exchange!  I just had this conversation with my friend Tonya.  I generally put my gift in a gift bag and call it good.  This time I used the Tag Infinity Dies and made a double tag.

The bottom tag was cut with Kraft Layering Paper and then I used a birch tree embossing folder that I had in my stash.  I topped it off with another tag cut from Kelly’s Designer Paper.  I layered it with a kraft doily and the Coffee Cup Tag Frame Cuts that I stamped the Holiday Florals Bold Prints in Red Royal Mid-Tone Shadow Ink.

Yup, I love the Color Layering Cardinal set!  I stamped it out using my Mini Misti on Snow Layering Paper.

I use the Circle Infinity Dies to cut the perfect size for the Coffee Cup.  The sentiment is from the Color Layering Cardinal set.  I used white embossing powder on Midnight Mixed Layering Paper.

Twelve girls…lots of laughing, crafting and eating.  It really doesn’t get much better than that, does it?!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I’ll be back again tomorrow!

  1. Oooh, I looove this!
And I may just be a little jealous of this 'crafty group' of yours…sounds so fun! 😉

  2. Amy! Love it!! I was thinking the other day about my Stampin Up Cardinal set and that I should use it on a cup, so this is just perfect. I love seeing it done on your tag, always a nice way to try things out before you do them. It turned out lovely. And the embossing is so pretty too on the kraft.

  3. Wonderful gift idea! And I love the tag. I bet that is fun to have a group to share this hobby with.

  4. I for one am in love with you gift wrapping! The kraft is the perfect background for your darling decor!

  5. Great wrapping, Amy and what a wonderful tag.
Yes, i enjoy this hop. Getting newideas is the best here!

  6. Super Jealous of whoever got this gift in the exchange as I am sure it was amazing.. I have the cardinal stamp but oh serious craft fail on my part, I am wretched bad at the layering stamps.. Amy thank you again for all the work you do in putting on these hops, I have enjoyed commenting on the projects and the inspiration is amazing. You can really tell how much people love the hop by the amount of work they put into their projects..

  7. Your embossed kraft has made quite an impression on me, amy … =] Of course, you know how much I'd love to join your fabulous group!! Fantastic gift-wrap idea!

  8. Talk about an awesome way to jazz up a package! Your triple tag is lovely; your gift wrapping, beautiful! I'll bet whoever received your prezzie spent a long time gazing in awe before opening it…

  9. The Layering Cardinal set is on my wish list! They are my favorite bird (but don't tell my parrot, Rocky! lol). This is beautiful.

  10. Reminds me of my aunt who loves Cardinals. Love the kraft doily separating the red & aqua! I had a doily sitting out every day, but it never got worked in. Next time!

  11. Ooh this cardinal is on its way to me (from the EH overstock sale!) and this is such a cute and clever way to showcase it. Thanks for the inspiration!

  12. Your little cardinal coffee tag is precious! I LOVE how you layered the tags – I think I will be CASEing this!
