But our hop marks the launch in the Hero Arts online store!

Giveaway:
Hero Art will be giving away three $25 shopping sprees, drawn from comments left across all blogs in the hop. Please comment by Wednesday, October 19 at 11:59pm PT and Hero Arts will announce the winner the following week.

You should have arrived here from the fabulous Mariana Grigsby’s blog.  If not, you’ll want to start at the beginning which is the Hero Arts blog.

I have a couple of projects to share for today!  I thought I’d show you how easy it is to use planner stamps for other projects, today I’m featuring two cards:

My first card uses an Midnight Mixed Layering Paper panel for the base.

The Hero Arts Kelly’s Designer Paper makes it so easy.  I trimmed the  panel down to 2 7/8 x 4 inches and used my corner chomper.  To make it easier to stamp the sentiment and have a bit of contrast, I also cut/trimmed a strip for the sentiment (the other side of the pattern panel) which is from the Fun Day Planner set.  I stamped the Friends with Intense black and then followed up with the banner and fussy cut them out.  I love the contrast of the green and gray, how about you?

Next up is another card that uses the Fun Day Planner set:

I happened to have a coordinating embossing folder in my stash so I teamed that up with another panel from the Midnight Mixed Layering Paper.  I did the same thing as my previous card and worked with Hero Arts Kelly’s Designer Paper and stamped a sentiment from the Fun Day Planner set.

Next up is the amazing Amy Tan!

I’m really looking forward to hopping and seeing everybody’s projects.  Here’s a listing of the hoppers in case you get lost along the way:
