3 Year Anniversary Blog hop with Newton’s Nook Designs!

I’m thrilled to be celebrating with Newton’s Nook Designs!  They’re celebrating 3 years and their July Release with a blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the awesome Jennifer Ingle’s blog!  If not, you’ll want to start at the Newton’s Nook Designs blog!  You’ll want to hop and leave comments along the way, more information about that at the bottom of my post!  Let’s get started!!!

Here’s a peek at the projects I made especially for today:

First up is a card that uses the Pineapple Delight set:

I used a couple of the Hero Arts Ombre ink pads:

lilac to grape  •  butter to orange  •  pink to red

It makes for a fun effect, doesn’t it?  I masked the middle pineapple.  I super adore the sentiment and the font!

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches:
Next up is a sweet tea card:

The new Freshly Squeezed set is chock full of fun images but I went ahead and featured the Sweet Tea image and sentiment.  My brother and sister-in-law live in North Carolina so I’ve had the opportunity to have Sweet Tea!  It’s delish!

I wanted to share a close up shot, not so you can see my messy watercoloring, but to see the ‘sugar’ on the lemon and the glossy accents on the ice cubes!

The entire new release is available now!  There’s a FREE mini thank you stamp set for the first 100 orders this weekend!
