Hero Arts: All Decked Out

How’s the holiday cardmaking going? I tend to try to fall back on postal friendly designs but also know that I have the opportunity to hand deliver holiday greetings so I can go ‘bumpy’:
hero arts supplies  cardstock:  kraft, snow + blush layering papers stamps:  clearly kelly all decked out  ink:  red royal mid-tone, unicorn white pigment  other:  clear gemstones
Truly, I love texture on all of my projects…this card is chock full of it from the dry embossed Blush base to the clear gemstones and heat embossed sentiment.  In real life the stag’s antlers, from Clearly Kelly’s All Decked Out set,  are off the cardstock base, he’s been adhered with a small strip of foam tape.  You can’t really tell from the photo but he’s been swished with gold watercolor.

The All Decked out has been stamped with the Unicorn Pigment ink and followed up with clear embossing powder.

We hope that you’ve had a chance to link up to the current Hero Arts challenge:  Holiday Cardmaking

  1. Gold watercolor? What?! Get out. I need to find some of that. Love your bumpy card, Amy : )

  2. Fun bumpily texture, killer colors, and cool stag makes for one awesome card. Love those "lighted" antlers too. I can just picture something like irl…lol. Bev

  3. Amy, I am sooo excited about yr card. Son and daughter in law moved to Toronto a couple of months ago so I'm on a delightful moose cards kick for them. Rhinestones on the antlers w "all deck out" is PERFECT!!!
Love it. Love the colors too! Do you take copying, w credit to you of course, as the sincerest form of flattery because I soooo want to copy and send to them?

  4. Oooh, love this! Such a great color combo, and I adore the texture and that sweet deer! Makes me smile, the little gems on the antlers. And love that embossed background. Makes me think of snowfall.

  5. Great Chirstmas card, Amy! Love that embossed background and the gold washed stag with bling on his antlers is the perfect finish 🙂
