chattin’ + craftin’

So, I do consider myself fortunate.  I’m surrounded by fabulous crafty friends both via bloggie land and IRL.

We have an on-going crafty gathering on a monthly basis.  New people are always welcome and out of staters too!

Last Saturday Lenae and Vicki joined us!

I always get the better end of the deal because people travel to me {I stink at packing for crafty gatherings} and other people put together awesome make ‘n takes for the group:

Laura Norris designed this one:
Isn’t it gorgeous…I love the monochromatic look.  I totally stink at lining up the craft foam and the cardstock on the sentiment….I have ADD when we are all together…my mind goes a mile a minute faster than it usually does when I craft {uh-oh}.  The tone-on-tone stamping…sigh…love…

The next 2 are designed by Kimberly Weiner.

Yes to succulents!

Hero Arts meets Paper Smooches.
Love at first sight.

Dude, that Simon Says pup is ADORABLE.

Gotta love that it is teamed up with the fantastic Neat & Tangled Box die!

You may have seen this on FB but Vicki gave me this awesome shaped card:

The cut file is from Julia Stainton and the die cut/embossed metal is from Add a Little Dazzle who happens to be a Spring Blog Hop Flash Sponsor!

Thanks to Lisa for bringing the delish dessert and Tonya who always puts up with me and who I’m holding to her word that she’ll be posting her finished make ‘n takesโ™ก

  1. Nothing better than crafting with friends! My mind works like yours…going 100mph, but my mouth is fully engaged yakking all the time! But the best part is just hanging with super crafters! Love these projects, and more things to add to the wish list, lol! Sounds like you had a wonderful day! Maybe someday I'll pop in too! Bev

  5. How wonderful you have sweet friends to craft together in real life! I'm really happy for you, Amy! Isn't it feel good to be inspired by their work and make your own? That's so sweet of you to give your friends shout-outs. (I'm happy to see my lovely Kimberly is one of your real life friends.)

  6. Great monochromatic on the flower. CAS at its finest! Want to run to my Craft Studio (my sweet noncrafty best friend named it) and make this card right now. I'm so inspired! Also love your โ™ฅ card from yr friend. Ok ok they r all cute BUT the one color (looks teal on my monitor) with the flowers is my fav. :ใ€‹ thx Amy.

  8. These are amazing! I suck at packing stuff up and taking it somewhere else. I used to demonstrate for a company and actually dreaded having to do parties. Wish that I had some crafty friends that lived close so that I could participate in something like this. I bet you guys are a hoot!
