i {heart} papers guest designer: rainy day & Season’s Givings Blog Hop Winner!

Hello and Happy Sunday!

Well, my holidays are wrapping up today.  I’m back to work tomorrow!  I’ve really enjoyed my time off and will be super busy at work, but it’s all good.

I’m back today with a post as the January Guest Designer at

For those of you that have been following me for a while know how much I adore color and patterns:

Greetings from Washington State!

This card is perfect for Washingtonians because we have such the reputation of rainfall.  Personally, I’ll take rain instead of snow any day.  I’ve lived here for a majority of my life and can’t imagine living anywhere else.

Can you believe that this entire card is made up of paper from:

Chickaniddy Crafts

Although, yes, it is chock full of “jolly good” stuff, don’t be deceived by the name, there is plenty in the paper pack that can be for non-holiday projects.  The 6×6 pad is available in the i {heart} papers shop, plus other Chickaniddy Crafts Collections.

Make sure you pop over to the Shop and the Blog for more inspiration!
My card was inspired by

My card is 3.5 x 5.5 inches.

The Seasons Givings Blog Hop was a ton of fun…

I used random.org to draw my winner for my giveaway:

  12. How sweet is this?! I adore your combination of patterns, and that little flashcard is adorable! So sad I missed your hop. I've been wanting that JBS stamp forever. I added it to my cart from the store and was quickly thereafter informed that it was discontinued. Sigh. Please let me know if you know where I can find another. Blessings!

  13. Such an adorable card, Amy! I love the papers and color combo. You'd never guess that was a Christmas collection. The little rainy day card is SO cute! Loving the little fishtail banners, too!
