have a cozy christmas

Good Morning!

I case’d myself on this one:
cardstock:  recollections paper:  crate  stamps:  a muse  ink:  fresh ink/charcoal  other:  pretty pink posh die, savvy stamps/deer head die
This version was definitely not as messy.

Here’s the funny thing, I finally made the resolution to sell all my vintage a●muse wood mounts stamps.  I have them on my desk as a display in a black wire basket but I don’t use them…or I didn’t until I needed a petite sentiment.
Of course now I need to re-think that whole decision.

My card was inspired by

I super LOVE everything about the inspiration photo!

dark wood grain
pops of white
bits of gray/silver

  1. Uh oh, I have off the next couple of weeks and was going to purge, purge, purge…I think I might run into the same situation as you…let it get some love by someone else….but, I might need it!!!! Your card is gorgeous, stunning.

  2. Wow! I adore my little look alike card so much I'll most likely leave it out all year! Both cards are gorgeous…hadn't seen the Cure post… hmmmm…

  3. LOL! I love that you CASED yourself! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! FUN and CAS!

As for the issue of wanting to get rid of some stamps… and then needing one… I totally understand! It happens all the time– you get rid of something and then need it the next day! LOL!

    HUGS <3

  4. Very cute. I have that same stamp but forgot about it. I like the peek at your stamp storage. Any chance you'd share more photos of that? I've yet to come up with a way to store my stamps that really works for me. Thanks! Oh, and Merry Christmas!

  5. Love that you CASE'd yo-self! And you went CAS on it, too! I'm a big fan of that Savvy stag's head, and I never thought of using the negative portion. Duh!

  6. This card is absolutely beautiful in its simplicity. Love it! I had to smile about your selling comment. I've had a few things set aside in a box for a year or more to give away/sell and in the last month I've reached for something in there at least two times…go figure. I hope you have very merry Christmas, Amy! You have certainly made my year more merry…I appreciate your visits so much!

  7. You know Amy, we buy stamps for a reason and then when we sell them we wish we had one back because we realize what we needed them for…best advice, make a point to go through the basket once a month and use at least one! Love your cased card! Happy Sunday!

  8. Fun CASE'd card – I remember just the one you cased too 😉 — If you plan on making the smaller cards KEEP the smaller sentiments that all I am sayin — Sound like a fun outing~

  9. Sweet simplicity but wow does it pop! I love how clean and beautiful this is Amy! Thanks so much for playing to find a Cure For The Monday Blues!

  10. Ooh, this is gorgeous, Amy! I love the winter white mixed with the woodland deer. Such a pretty look for the holidays!
Thanks so much for my beautiful card, too! I love it, my friend! 🙂

  11. Love this CAS version of this card! The black wire basket is so pretty! I would keep the stamps just for the pretty display haha

  12. Brilliant CASE of yourself!! That deer die-cut is so gorgeous and can see it being used all thru the year. The woodgrain is perfect for the inspiration photo too. Hold on to your stamps for a bit longer, you might be inspired to use them all again in the New Year……

  13. LOVE your cozy card. Thanks for sharing.
I had to laugh because just when I think I should part with some of my unused stamp collection I find I need one then I think wait maybe I should hang on to these. lol.
