Chickaniddy Crafts: Santa Claus is coming to Town

So a couple weeks ago I was up on the Chickaniddy Crafts blog.  Check out my fun supplies:

The Jolly Good Collection makes me a happy crafter!  I altered a hinged tin with it.

All the supplies are by Chickaniddy Crafts with the exception of the ink and the twine.

paper:  chickaniddy crafts/jolly good collection  twine:  divine twine  other:  papertrey ink vellum

I used a sticker to close the wax paper liner:

These have to be the easiest Peanut Butter Cookies to make!

Who doesn’t love cookies?!  I wasn’t introduced to Peanut Butter until I was in High School.

This is when I reveal that I’m really not much of a cooker/baker.  There are several dishes that I cook, including Yellow Curry and Spinach Lasagna but the kids are the bakers in the household.

This particular Peanut Butter recipe is ultra-simple…3 ingredients:

1 c. Peanut Butter
1 c. Sugar
1 egg

Mix well {I use less than 1 cup of sugar}.  Roll into balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.  Using a fork, flatten each ball.

Cook at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

I couldn’t believe all the snow we received yesterday.  Okay, so it wasn’t feet of the stuff but for Washington State, it was enough.  I’ve been really horrid about taking pictures but there was 6 of us that got together to craft -n- chat including Vicki Dutcher!  In true crafty form, we all chatted and laughed for several hours.  I’ll have to hijack pictures from some of the other girls (KimberlyKateKatieTonya) but we had a ton of fun.  We missed Lisa, Toni & Amber!
