Stamplorations Guest Designer: Let’s have coffee!

Welcome to Day 2 of the November Stamp Release Blog Hop at STAMPlorations! For complete info on the hop, including how you can win stamps, click here.

All the fun starts HERE.

Today, we’re putting the spotlight on VIGNETTE: Eat Drink Be Merry. We’ll be picking one commenter to win this set so leave a comment here and on the rest of the STAMPlorations girls’ posts for a chance to win the set.

How thrilled am I to be hopping with the Stamploration girls!  Um, yeah, that set is perfect for me, eh?!!!!  Thanks for thinking of me Maria!

Here’s how I was inspired by it:

cardstock:  papertrey ink  stamps:  stamplorations/vingnette:  eat, drink & be merry  ink:  zing white, fresh ink/teal, clear embossing  other:  3m washi, studio calico wood veneery
I’ve been super lovin’ kraft/white & aqua together!

I penciled a grid on the kraft panel.  I’m not really such an exact stamper, I’m really quite lazy but I know when I need to get the ‘ole ruler out and measure stuff.

Heat embossing…love it, do you?  I’ve been doing a whole lot of heat embossing lately.  For those that know me, know that I’m an early riser and if I’m heat embossing when the household is sleeping, I time it when the heater comes on 🙂
The wood veneer piece is Studio Calico.  I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Ink Teal and then clear heat embossed it.  The aqua panels?  3M washi!

Don’t forget to hit all of the stops for a tremendous amount of inspiration and a chance to win!

  11. You are such a considerate crafter! How bad is it that I've never thought of anyone who is sleeping being bothered by my racket. I guess they're all just heavy sleepers : )

Wonderful job lining all those images up! No room for error there!

  16. Congratulations on the GD post, so very exciting!! How funny they were using a stamp set that had coffee involved…mmmmm…wonder why they thought of you???…. You and coffee seem to be a match made in heaven, especially where this card is concerned. I love heat embossing and you've embossed those cups so perfectly. And love the colour of the washi down the sides, it looks gorgeous with the white and kraft. Thanks so much for your comments on my first ever blog photo. Your right, it is funny how you can find people that you click with amongst the millions of blogs out there. I've been very lucky to have met yourself and others who have become lovely 'bloggie' friends. Yay for the internet!!!!
