thankful for you

I needed a couple thank you cards…

I decided to work with the Fancy Pants Designs, True Friend collection.

There’s something about the color yellow, so fresh, fun & happy!
cardstock:  papertrey ink/kraft  paper:  fancy pants design/true friend  stamps:  reverse confetti/forever fall  ink:  zing/white  other:  confetti cuts/love note, paper accents/vellum, fancy pants designs/burlap & bouquets/flair

The flair is actually from Fancy Pants Designs’ Burlap & Bouquets collection, but I thought it worked well.

Next up is a more fall inspired thank you:

cardstock:  papertrey ink  paper:  fancy pants design/true friend  stamps:  reverse confetti/lots to say & whole lotta dots  ink:  zing/white, misc/clear embossing powder  other:  confetti cuts/love note, paper accents vellum, stampin’ up wood element
The panel on the left has been clear embossed with Reverse Confetti’s Whole Lotta Dots.  It’s a fun way to add more texture to a card.  Gotta love the Stampin’ up, Autumn Wooden Elements.

Each of the cards use Reverse Confetti’s Love Note which I cut in vellum for the base and then cut another panel with patterned paper and fussy cut the center panel.

I was inspired by Reverse Confetti’s

I’m also linking up to the Catered Crop for their

  1. Yellow has always cheered me, amy… love this! Must check out the 12 Days of Wrapping blog! Though we don't give many actual gifts anymore, wrapping them was always my favorite part of Christmas… yep, I'm crazy like that =/

  2. These are awesome,Amy!! I love the colors and patterns!! The scalloped vellum is a perfect touch!!

  3. What a lovely mix and match of patterns! Great eye! The vellum overlay is such a nice touch.

  4. This is why I love your cards so much. You use patterned paper so simply but your cards have such style. And great to be able to use the same layout but with different colours…genius!!
