So, if you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you’ll know that I have several coffee stamp sets.  There has been chatter regarding this hop for a bit and I was fretting about which stamp set to use.

So, my resolution was to post coffee themed cards this entire week!

Who bought the Simon Says Stamp October kit

Bonus points for using that awesome yarn that I picked up in Friday Harbor.  Really, it was for the spool but isn’t it a gorgeous color and matched the Basic Grey Grand Bazaar perfectly:

I’m trying to find another ‘sweet spot’ for photography.  With the change in weather and lack of natural light it’s been a challenge.  Yes, I have 2 light tents, but after stepping away from them, I don’t want to go back.

If you could see the room that this photo was taken in.  Yup, it is my craft room and basically everywhere except on top of that vintage suitcase is a PURE MESS.
Can you tell that the mug is on foam dots?  I colored in the coffee with copics.

I’m really looking forward to hopping this evening {darn work gets in the way of my crafty time!}.

Virginia Lu came up with some questions that we could add to our post today:

1. When did you start drinking coffee?
I can’t remember when I started but I’m sure that it was when I started to work full time, way long time ago.

2. What is favorite brand (you can name up to three).

I know, I’m going to be boring and say Starbucks.  I like them for their consistency.

3. What is the most amazing coffee that you had? Remember where and when?

Kyoto, Japan October 2000
4. If I don’t drink my needed coffee, I will…

get a headache
become grumpy
need to go to sleep
(not necessarily in that order)

Thanks so much for stoppin’ by!!!!!!

  31. So, so pretty and I'm loving this pattern paper as well! You must have a wonderful stash of papers tucked away to choose from. And that lovely soft twine(?) looks so squishy, I love it!

  32. Haha! If I don't have my coffee, I get a headache, too, like a vise around my head. 😉 I'm surprised that you got the most amazing coffee in Kyoto. My most amazing coffee was in Italy – nice and strong and bitter, just the way I like it. I love your coffee-themed cards. I don't think I own even ONE coffee stamp. I've always admired those coffee stain (ring) stamps, but can't think when I'd use them, lol!

  33. Love how you put the elements from the Simon kit together for this adorable card, Amy!! Thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!

  34. Great card! I really enjoy seeing patterned paper used together. I get stuck in a rut as to how to use my patterned paper and then I just give up and go with plain. I am definitely going to use these two papers together! Thanks!

  35. LOOOOVE your card Amy – you are the (MY) queen of this challenge. You'd be my #1 winner -all time (-:

  38. Yep, I also get a headache when I don't drink coffee… but that is veeeeery rare, because I (almost) always have my 2 coffees/day :).
Love your card, the yarn looks so good and cozy.
